Seeds
A farmer’s greatest triumph in their farming journey is in good soil preparation, sowing good quality seeds, managing costs and reaping a bountiful harvest. We therefore source and select our seeds for both green house and open field production from renowned, leading and globally respected seed producers and breeders who meet all international seed testing standards. Our hybrid and open pollinated seeds portfolio is carefully chosen, tried and tested locally to suit the soil and growing conditions in Ghana. Additionally, we have our professional team of agronomists advising farmers on the best seed varieties suitable for their regions.
The effects of climate change have interrupted sowing and harvesting patterns across the country. Tomatoes
In our range of tomato seed varieties, we have Galilea F1 a determinate hybrid variety which is suitable for open field farming. It has fifirm fruit and is oval in shape and has a long shelf life. It weighs 150 – 180g and has strong resistance to tomato mosaic virus, leaf curl virus, nematodes, bacterial speck and fusarium (1,2).
Shanti F1 is a very early maturing determinate variety, that is also recommended for open field production. It has high resistance to nematodes, tomato leaf curl virus, verticillium wilt, bacterial speck and tomato spotted wilt virus. The fruit shape is oval and weighs between 150 – 180g, and has an extended shelf life.
Shanty Improved F1 is suitable for regions experiencing high temperatures and dry growing conditions. Additionally, it also has high resistance to tomato yellow leaf curl virus (TYLCV). It is suitable for open field farming and its fruit weighs 140 – 160g.
Eva F1 is an indeterminate hybrid variety suitable for greenhouse farming. It is oval shaped with fruit weighing between 160 – 200g, and has an extended shelf life. It also has good resistance to fruit cracks.
Nemo Netta F1 is an indeterminate variety that has a round, standard sized fruit and weighs 150-200g. It is resist to verticillium wilt, root knot nematodes, fusarium wilt race (1,2) and tomato mosaic virus.
Rigoletto is an elongated cocktail/midplum fruit type indeterminate variety and weighs between 30-60g. It is resistant to verticillium wilt, tomato mosaic virus, tomato yellow leaf curl, fusarium race 0,1 and 2.
Pepper
Serenade is a hot – chilli pepper variety of export quality that is well adapted to tough growing conditions. Its fruit has a smooth skin and it has a long shelf life. It is suitable for open field production with spanish trellising and is resistance to tobacco mosaic virus as well as high cracking tolerance.
Cayenne have dark red and glossy fruits when they are ripe. Suitable for open field production and has a good shelf life for the open markets.
Additionally, the Supper habanero F1 has late maturity with an extended shelf life and strong vigour.
Sweet Pepper
Golden Sun F1 produces medium blocky three lobed fruits with medium fruit walls. It is suitable for greenhouse production and has an extended shelf-life with fruit colour at maturity from green to yellow. It is resistant to tomato mosaic virus.
California Wonder is an open pollinated variety suitable for outdoor production. It takes 75 days to mature after transplanting and forms very juicy, crunchy and large fruits. Fruit colour is green to red, it loves heat and has high resistance to tobacco mosaic virus.
Onions
We have hybrid varieties namely Neptune F1, Sivan F1 and Red Creole. Neptune F1 is high yielding with shinning red bulbs, has good pungency and extended shelf life. It can be stored for 5-6 months.
Sivan F1 is also very high yielding, has a delicious taste, slightly pungent with pink flesh. It can also be stored between 4-5months.
Red Creole has small thick flat bulbs with dark red colour. It also has good firmness and is highly recommended for the tropics. Good tolerance to onion pink root.
Cucumber
Carmen F1 is a greenhouse production parthenocarpic type with dark green fruit colour and an average length of 30 – 35cm. It is resistant to powdery mildew, has a strong root system, a good shelf life and early maturity. Production is all year-round.
Super marketer is high yielding with yields ranging from 16 – 32 tonnes per hectare. It grows well in hot climatic conditions and matures within a month and a half to two months.
Additionally, we offer the Romi variety which has vigour and is medium yielding with fruit length between 16 -18cm.
Cabbage
Taurus produces well filled heads with good field holding capacity. It is very strong against bolting and bursting. After transplanting, it takes 100-110 days to mature. The head shape is round to flflat with blue-green heads. Its fruit weighs averagely between 4 – 6kg.
We also have early yielding varieties such as NIZ 1043 F1 which matures within 65 days after transplanting. It is resistant to fusarium conglutinans and has a good standing ability. Average fruit weight is 3 – 4.5kg depending on plant density. It is round shaped with green coloured heads.
White cabbage Landini F1 is also an early yielding variety adaptable to different climatic conditions and matures within 80 -100 days after transplanting. The average fruit weight is 3 – 5kg.
Lettuce
Aviram F1 is an iceberg type variety suitable for both indoor and greenhouse production with good resistance to heat. It is early maturing, taking 65 – 75 days after seeding. The head is globe shaped and light green in colour.
Super Jericho is a romaine type variety with resistance to downey and powdery mildew. It is also indoor and greenhouse compatible with very early maturity between 50 – 55 days after planting.
Great lakes have a medium to late maturity, with very high resistance to bolting and heat. It has a flattened round head with dark green leaves and no bitter taste.
Carrots
Nantes is a medium yielding variety with a cylindrical fruit shape and length of between 17 – 20cm. It is recommended for sub-tropical regions, and suitable for fresh and processing markets.
Kale
1000 Headed is a hardy variety that grows continuously and stays in the field for a long time. It has dark green big attractive leaves with a thick stem and matures between 90 – 100days. It is easy to cook and very digestible. It is resistant to cold and can also be used as fodder for livestock.

Watermelon
Lahat F1 has high brix with good shelf life and high yielding quality. It has an oblong shape with dark green stripes.
